"Monday morning again....", I groaned to myself while pulling my blanket over my head. "Wake up child. Time to get ready for school." I heard my mother shouted. Her voice echoed through the house but all I heard was 'SCHOOL', I lazily, but hurriedly got out of bed, went to brush my teeth then take a shower and got ready for school. Minutes after I had finished my breakfast, I heard the sound of the bus horn. "Bye, Love you mom!", I shouted as I ran out the house while also trying to set my backpack right. "Love you too. Stay safe and Enjoy your day.", replied my mother. The bus driver finally made a turn and our location was the seawall public road.
While in the bus, on the journey to school; my friends and I usually play 'counting cars'. To pass the time we would count the amount of vehicles driving on the road and then group them into colours. The morning traffic was always hectic and noisy but suddenly we heard a loud roar approaching.
"Mazda RX8!", shouted one of the boys. Everyone turned around to look for the car. It was coming with full speed and passed us within seconds. Then suddenly we heard a loud crash. And then there were people screaming. By then, the bus had reached the stoplight, where the image of the incident still haunts me. The now halted Mazda RX8 was all smashed up into one of the concrete barriers that lined the road. There was this motorcycle that had also crashed into the side of the Mazda RX8. In the nearside corner drain, there was a mini-bus in the drain that now had people trying to come out. Everyone in the school bus was eager to see what had happened. "Look it got somebody across there.", said a girl pointing a few feet away from the crashed motorcycle. A man dressed in a white shirt and blue jeans, now covered in blood laid faced down on the road. He had on the helmet so I assumed that he was the rider on the motorcycle. There was chaos and people were running to see what had happened. Our driver took out his cellphone and called the ambulance and then the police. After which he told us,"Let's get you kids to school." He cut through one of the streets and we arrived safely at school. The day was spent talking about what we had saw. All sort of odd stories were now rumouring.
When I got home, I told my mother everything, on what I saw with my own eyes and what had happened. My mom told me not to study that. Stuffs like that happens but what we need to do, is to obey the road safety rules. Later that night, I saw the news. The Mazda RX8 was said to be driving over a speed limit and the now dead driver was drinking when he tried to 'jump' the stoplight and then he hit the driving bus and it swayed and hit the also dead motorcyclist, who was on the right lane. The okay news was that no one got any serious injuries on the minibus which got a slight hit from the car that tried to avoid it, but ended up killing the motorcyclist. The news said that the police are still investigating the matter. I went to bed thinking that night,"What if that drunk driver in his fast car had hit my school bus. What if?"

Short Story- Tragic Ending
Once a upon a time, long ,long ago, there lived a girl named Mary. Mary lived with her drunkard father and a sickly mother, along with two older siblings, a brother and a sister. Her house was always filled with argument and Mary was always confused and sad. Mary attended school and even there she was not happy.
School for Mary was terrible. Students dislike her because she was too smart and brilliant. Even the teachers didn't like her, they would always shout harshly at her and sometimes even degraded her marks. Never-the-less, Mary was confident and believed in herself.
Mary had no friends, she was always by herself. The girls in the school was jealous of Mary because she was beautiful.
Mary's face was soft and round, she was fair in complexion. Her voice sometimes sounds magical. But because Mary is always depressed her beauty is sometimes covered.
The national examination was coming up, Mary was nervous but confident. Being confident is an ability or quality that Mary had developed within the years. That night before the examination Mary studied really hard. She kept thinking that if she passed her exam her parents and teachers would be proud of her for once. So Mary studied very hard.
The next morning Mary was anxious and nervous. She quickly ran to school and prepared herself. It was time for the exam, Mary looked at the paper and smiled. Minutes passed and Mary continued to write. "Time's up" called the teacher. Mary walked out of the examination room smiling. She thanked God and went home.
When she arrived at home, of course there was an argument.
"Mary come here you blas* girl" shouted her drunk father. Mary went to her father, confused somewhat.
"Yes, father" she replied politely.
"You have been attending night clubs, parting with friends? Have you?" shouted Mary's father angrily and sternly.
"Wha.....What....?" Mary stumbled with words. "NO!NO! she shouted aloud.
"Really..." said Mary's mother coming down the stairs "then how come I found these in your room?" she continued; and there Mary saw her mother holding a rum bottle and a pack of cigarette in her hand.
"No! That's not mine!" Mary said with tears in her eyes. She stood there listening to all the accusations being made about her.
Then after a few minutes her brother and sister came walking into the house and saw what was going on. Immediately her brother and sister started to quarrel on her.
"How could you Mary?" they questioned. Then they smiled.
Right then Mary saw an exact pack of cigarette in her brother's bag, she then knew it was her own brother and sister did that.
Mary ran out of the house crying. She ran and then fell to the ground. There she saw one of her teachers who is in charge of marking the examination paper. The teacher started to laugh and with that she tore Mary's examination paper into pieces and threw it in her face. "Think you can ever be successful? Never! I would never allow that you witched girl."
Mary had enough, she couldn't endure it anymore. Mary went to the tallest mountain in her village and there she cried and cried. Reflecting on her life, questioning herself on why everyone disliked her so much. "I am tired...I...give up." With that, she closed her eyes and jumped.

Story Story- Hallucination
"Come on kids; Hurry up!" shouted Mrs. Bones at her three children.
The Bones' house was very busy that Sunday morning. The entire family was going on a picnic. Everyone in the house was busy except for eleven year old Alice.
"Alice would you stop reading those make-believe story books and pack your stuffs?"asked the grandmother.
Alice took off her glasses and in a polite way, she told her grandmother "Thanks for being concerned but I am finish packed. Can you please leave me in peace now?"
"As you wish, my dear" replied her grandmother.
The entire family hurried out of the house with all their belongings. They drove south to the national park as their destination.
In the dark blue family van was Alice's parents, her grandparents, her big brother and her big sister. The Bone's family dog- Tiger was also in the van.
Half way in their destination the van stopped abruptly. "What's wrong?" asked Alice.
"I don't know! Let me check..." replied Alice's father.
"Let me give you a hand." said the grandfather.
Minutes passed which seem like hours to Alice, then finally father came and said "I don't know what's the problem, we have to call the mechanic. Okay" with that he went forward with the calling. Then Alice mother turn around from the passenger seat and said "Well kids, you can go for a walk in the meantime."
"Walk where? All around is forest which look very creepy!" replied the grandmother.
Alice ignored her grandmother and went for a walk in the dark, spooky forest. "Careful my dear!" said Alice mother in a singing voice. Alice heard a bark, when she turned around she saw Tiger. "Let's go boy." she called.
Alice felt something was drawing or pulling her into the forest further and further. She found herself in the middle of nowhere. Suddenly the trees parted and there stood the little girl in ragged clothes and a broken doll in her hand.
"What the ..." Alice said surprisingly. Then little by little the light around the girl begun to fade.
"Wait! Don't go! Who are you? What do you want?" shouted Alice as she ran in the direction of the unknown girl.
As Alice ran, the trees reconnected and Alice tripped and fell. She was awaken by a dog barked and wet slime on her face. It was Tiger, their family dog, who was licking her face in the dark forest.
"What a strange encounter!" She said as she stumbled to get on her feet.

Caught in a Storm
A storm, not only described the weather but it can also describe someone's disturbance or tantrum.
Human tantrums can be very dangerous at times but if one tries, it can be controlled.
There was a girl named Zenus. She was always concerned about her family and friends. Whenever there was a problem in her family, she would stay awake all night thinking of solutions. She was good at heart but was always worried that one day her kindness will put her in a storm. One day Zenus overheard her uncle and stepfather talking about destroying the family's clan. Zenus was caught in a storm; she was very angry towards her destroyers but she also didn't want her mother to be worried. Zenus had to devise a solution before everything she owns disappeared.

Short Story- A Black Woman Dream
I could not believe my ears. The announcer had called my name! I had won the $100000 prize.
My mouth fell open, my hand flew to my head, my feet begun to jump up and down, my dreams was going to be fulfilled. "Come on down to collect your huge cheque Becky; Owner of $100000.", the jolly announcer said as I made my way to the bright and colourful stage, decorated with the company's signs "Decor lottery co.", all over the stage.
"Thank you, thank you.", I said over and over as I held the cheque with my name on it and $100000 written on it. I didn't exactly knew how I won, but I won. 'Now my dreams can come through. I can now divorce my drunkard, lazy husband and get a new home for my eight children.', that was my thought as I held and waved my huge cheque all around the stage. I stood on the decorated stage with my old and half torn clothes. 'Don't get me wrong, my clothes was torn because of all the house chores I had to do and with maintaining and controlling eight children, it is not easy.' Thoughts and ideas were going through my mind like water falling from the sky. "I will buy myself some new and nice clothes, some nice high heels and a new car for me and some nice clothes for all my children.", all this I continued to think as I stood on that stage.
"What more!? , What more!? $100000... What a black woman like me with eight children and a lazy husband gonna do with $100000! What!", I exclaimed as I was now dancing on the stage.
"Yo, lady! stop sleep and come and make me a cup of black tea deh!", I heard my annoying husband's voice shattering my lottery dream. I slowly opened my eyes and held my lottery ticket and said,"Oh gaud, let me win!"

Short Story- My Last Day
I looked at my hands; old and wrinkled; I felt my face, it felt just like my hands.
"All because of old age" I told myself. I looked down at my ragged clothes, full with mud stains and dirt. "Well at least it covers my body." The place felt cold, not only in temperature but the surrounding also. I was in the middle of war.
"Will I survive?" I asked myself. I continued to look around thanking God my one and only son is alive and safe."If only someway I can get in contact with my Dev, to tell him that 'I am proud of you dear and I love you very much, I love you child' if only someway I talked to myself, barely hearing my voice compared to the chaos around me. I walked around seeing people fighting and hitting each other with glass bottles, hard-wood, metals and guns. Just the sight of a gun terrified me. I saw a man shouting and passing orders around to other people. I went up to him and said "Excuse me sir, how can I get to inform my dear son that I love him. He is in the other big city studying to become a doctor. I just want to tell him "I love him. I don't know if I will survive to see tomorrow, Please help me". I felt a tear rolling down my cheek. I folded my hands and pleaded. "Do you have a contact number for you son?" asked the serious man with what appeared to be a smile. I pulled out a small paper with what seemed like numbers on it and I handed it to the man. He took out his phone and dialed the number and handed it to me. It rang three times then I heard my son's voice. "Hello", he said. His voice bold and strong. "My son, I love you. I am your mother. I love you dear". I told him in a weak but clear voice. "Ma, I love you too but what happened? Are you okay ma?" he asked. " Ha......." I tried to say but I felt my heart paining. I fell to the ground with blood streaming out of my body. I had been shot. This is my last day. At least I told him, I love him. My vision went blurred and that was my end.

Short Story- His Cowgirl Bride
There Jack stood staring at the beautiful girl riding her lovely white horse. Her long, beautiful, blond hair and her gorgeous blue eyes telling so much excitement and feelings. Her outfit fitted her body so perfect. Her boots was brown in colour, her jean's blue, her stripe red and white jersey so perfect on her. And most lovely of all, her white cowgirl hat with red rubies on it. Indeed she was beautiful.
"Get back to work, you worthless boy! Come on Jack you don't have all day to clean that stable." shouted Jack's mother, who was the cook and maid of the Jordan's family. Jack quickly finished cleaning the stable and rushed into the huge mansion. The kitchen was bigger than their house and was filled with all expensive things. Jack and his mother lived alone in a small hut. His mother never went to school and was also cleaning and working here and there. She finally got a job that pays well with the richest family in the village, the Jordan's. She took along her only son to help her and unfortunately Jack fell in love with the master's daughter Bella. He won't dare say a word about his love because he didn't want his mother to lose her job. Everyday he spied on her every movement. He knows her likes and dislikes. He never utter a word to her not even "HI" because he was very shy. But he promised himself that she will be his "Cowgirl Bride".
Years gone, times changed, Jack was now in his twenties. He was now educated and had his own business. He was now rich also. His mother had died and her master has took good care of him. He had fell more deeply in love with Bella, day by day. One warm evening, as Bella was in the stable with her horse, Jack built up some courage and went to her and said,"You are as beautiful as the roses in the garden in the spring season. I have loved you all my childhood years and my loved has increased beyond the sky. I wish to make you my Cowgirl Bride." Tears wet her dreamy blue eyes and she replied,"I thought you would never ask." She got up and jumped in his arms and said,"Yes, I will be your Cowgirl Bride."
